LOHS Choir
About Our Choir Program
Lake Oswego High School's exceptional choir program is a gateway to a world of vocal exploration and high-level performances. The A Cappella choir, open to grades 9-12 by audition, performs a diverse repertoire and places a strong emphasis on vocal refinement and professionalism. They participate in all LOHS concerts and regional festivals, with the potential for state-level competition and performance tours. For experienced treble singers in grades 10-12, the Bel Canto Choir is a platform for advanced singing skills and musicianship, performing widely in the metro area and participating in festivals. The non-auditioned Laker Choir and Treble Choir are perfect for new tenors/basses and treble voices, respectively, fostering foundational skills and ensemble enjoyment. The Windjammers, a select ensemble for juniors and seniors dual-enrolled in A Cappella, perform extensively and present an annual Variety Show, emphasizing professionalism and team spirit. This comprehensive program is a testament to our belief in providing students with a wide range of musical styles and performance settings, enriching their high school experience through music.
